THE LAWN PAINTERS GROUP:
A wonderful opportunity for artists Members have been displaying and selling their work on the lawns of Warland Reserve for over 30 years! An average Sunday in January sees 600 to 900 people viewing the paintings. Because the Art Society pays an insurance premium to the Victor Harbor Council, a small commission is charged on all sales (payable after a sale on the day). Members bring their own art, and stands and spend an enjoyable day with other artists while encouraging sales. Further instructions and helpful ideas are available at monthly meetings of the Society. |
